The Company was bought in the late 1940s by Albert Walter and Howard Walter Robinson - father and son - who ran the Company together until the 60s when Albert died and then Howard continued until 1984, when he retired. Howard’s daughter Mary came to work here straight from Pitmans College in the 60s.
In 1984 when Howard retired, Paul Day joined the company as Managing Director and the business relocated to Royston, Hertfordshire. Paul stayed with us for over 20 years until he retired in 2006
Mary is now the Managing Director of the company today and she runs the Company with her Daughter, Lauren. Another person who is an integral part of the Company is Jill Johnson; she has worked for the company for over 20 years and runs our packing and despatch department more efficiently that we could ask for. Roy makes the Crayons and has also worked very hard for us for over 20 years. All in all, we have a great team.
The Manufacture of Industrial Wax Crayons is still the main part of our business today. We also import Engineers French Chalk Sticks and Slabs from the Far East and we now also supply every type of Marker and Marker Pen for use in Industry, the Office and for Crafts.
So, as you can see, we are a small, family run business. We pride ourselves on our friendly customer service, our product knowledge and our communication. We hope very much to be of service and to hear from you soon.
